Jinja is positioned approximately 81 kilometers East of Kampala city. It was instituted in the early 1907 during the colonial era. Jinja is recognized as the ‘’Adventure Capital of East Africa”, many people adore to go and see this fabulous city due to the plenty of breathtaking adventurous activities commendable to explore on a Ugandan safari. This astonishing city is a popular home to the source of the Nile featuring various water activities like; busoowoko falls, boat cruise, zipling, tubing etc.
The one day excursion takes you to explore Sezibwa falls, Mabira forest for a guided nature walk and zipling, the source of the Nile and busoowoko falls beach.
Day1: Transfer from Kampala to Jinja After having your delicious early breakfast, your driver or guide picks you up for a transfer to Jinja city. You will first make a stopover at Sezibwa falls as our first activity for a memorable guided nature walk as you explore the natural wonders of this place like the fascinating waterfall. It is of key importance to note that Ssezibwe is a fascinating cultural site for the Buganda kingdom distinguished for its gripping legendary myths. After we relocate to Mabira forest and enjoy an optional guided forest walk, expect to view some primates like baboons, numerous tree species, birdlife and ziplinning’ We embark on the journey to Jinja city driving through enormous, green sugar cane and tea plantations along the road. Upon arriving at Jinja city, we take a tour to the source of the Nile and go for a boat cruise and lastly to busowooko falls, later in the evening hours we return to Kampala to your respective hotel or Entebbe airport for your return ticket.
